Cool Clothes, Great Art, and a Moving Tribute

Wm. King Clothiers cordially invites you to a very special event on Thursday, September 6th, 2012 from 5:30-7:30pm at our Historic Downtown Bristol store.

Our good friend Scott MacMorran will have his first public showing of his "Friends and Family Series" portraits. Scott has only been painting for four years and is self-taught. His unique style is quickly gaining popularity as evidenced in the picture below of his first commissioned piece of Darius Rucker, country artist and former lead singer of Hootie and The Blowfish. We have always believed that dressing is a form of art, and it is our pleasure to share our store with Scott's remarkable work. Surrounded by an inspired 2012 Fall collection of beautiful and sartorial tweeds and cashmeres, the setting should be ideal for our first Art Show.

As a very special tribute, Scott will be unveiling his gift to The Paramount Center for the Arts: his portrait of the late Merle Dickert, who loved the arts and was fundamental to bringing art to Bristol. We look forward to seeing you at this Premier of cool clothes, great art, and moving tribute.
